My daughter, who is eleven, dove into the book as soon as we got it and could not put it down. The book tells a tale that is based on the Beauty and the Beast movie, with smart and beautiful Belle as the main character. I have found that there is no better way to keep her love of reading alive than to provide her with books on subjects that she loves, like Disney. I was excited when I heard that Disney Press just released the BEAUTY AND THE BEAST: LOST IN A BOOKbook by Jennifer Donnelly, the New York Times bestselling author of the Waterfire Saga series! My daughter is a huge Disney fan, we visit Disney every year for her birthday and watch all the Disney movies as soon as they come out.
